Katherine Kobierzycki is the “other half” of Igor Kobierzycki and Mississauga Dental Studio. She graduated with distinction in 1987 from the College of Dental Technology in Torun, Poland. Over the years, she has gained experience by working in various departments, ending up in the diagnostic/cosmetic wax-up department at Ardent Dental Laboratories, where she and Igor worked as a team, producing top-quality cosmetic cases. This teamwork is now in full effect in the management and operations of all aspects of Mississauga Dental Studio.
Kathy is not only responsible for the beautiful wax contours of e.max restorations and diagnostic wax ups, but she is also our technologically-savviest team member, specialized in CAD/CAM design of all metal frameworks and zirconia restorations. In today’s ever-changing technological world, Kathy continuously follows and studies all new research in dental technology and makes sure that MDS is a front-runner when it comes to innovations in the dental field.
In addition to her indispensable work as a technician, Kathy also runs all administrative aspects of MDS – from office paperwork, to coordinating pickup and deliveries, to marketing and accounting. Kathy also organizes and coordinates all dental events and workshops hosted by Mississauga Dental Studio.
Balancing all of her roles as office administrator, manager, and dental technician, Kathy loves spending time with her family – 2 children and a dog – and enjoys her hobbies whenever she can: gardening, travel, hiking and photography.
